Homologous Traits in Life Science
In Life Science, students have dissected chicken wings. The goal was to carefully extract the bones, reconstruct their arrangement, sketch it and compare it to that of a human arm (our Mr. Bones came in handy). This was an opportunity to learn about homologous traits – structures shared between all related species.
